Bridgewater- Neila M. (Driscoll) Skinner, 74, of Bridgewater, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at her home. She was the wife of the late Franklin A. Skinner.
Born Aug. 15, 1932, in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Mary (Dwyer) Driscoll.
She was a graduate of Abington High School.
Mrs. Skinner worked as a secretary for the Bridgewater House of Correction for 11 years.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater.
Mrs. Skinner had been a Bridgewater resident for 45 years, coming from Abington.
She helped with Handi Kids and enjoyed bowling, reading, bingo and was a Red Sox fan.
She was the wife of the late Franklin A.; mother of Nancy Tornari, Richard A. Skinner, Cynthia Provost and Timothy Skinner, all of Bridgewater, and Theresa Skinner of East Bridgewater; sister of Denise Cocoran of Abington. Also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Funeral from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Monday at 8:15 am. Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9 am. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 pm. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rockland.
