WORCESTER
Annette C. (Pelletier) Desplaines, 72, of Worcester died Wed. July 4 at home.
Her husband Richard C. Desplaines died in 1993.She leaves four children, Richard C. Desplaines, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Rutland, Marc L. Desplaines of Phoenix, AZ, Denise A. Desplaines and her husband Robert Lee of Brewster and Paula M. Desplaines of Phoenix, AZ. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ovid and Orise (Dupre) Pelletier and graduated from Holy Name High School.
Annette was a collector in the billing department for the former City Hospital and then for the Visiting Nurses Assoc. She was a member of Christ the King Church and its social club, she volunteered for R.S.V.P. and enjoyed knitting and traveling.
The funeral will be held on Sat. June 7, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 AM in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting Hours will be held Friday, from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas St. Worcester 01608.
