Dorothy I. (Guarente) DiMarzo, a life-long Medford resident, died Monday at Sunbridge Nursing Home, Lawrence. She was 82.
Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Florence Guarente. A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Dorothy worked as a secretary at John Hancock Life Insurance for 15 years.
Wife of the late Anthony M. Guarente, Dorothy was the devoted mother of Michael DiMarzo of Dracut and Judith Collela of Reading. She was the devoted grandmother of Richard Collela, Christine Castelli, Anthony DiMarzo and Lindsay DiMarzo. She was a loving great grandmother to Jordyn, Joseph and Alex. She was the dear sister of Mary Guarente.
Funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home,306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 9 AM with a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Clement Church, Medford. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Friends may call Thursday from 4 thru 8.
