Shirley M. Goreham at 79 Owned Hair Salon in Cambridge
Shirley M. (Herron) Goreham, 79, of Medford formerly of Cambridge, died July 1, 2007 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington after a brief illness. Mrs. Goreham owned Phyllis Lee’s Hair Salon in Central Square Cambridge for many years. Born in Canada she lived most of her life in Cambridge before moving to Medford several years ago.
Beloved mother of John Goreham & his wife Jane of Medford, Russell Goreham & his wife Elizabeth of Quincy, and Kevin Goreham of Medford. Also survived by Sonny & Lillian Goreham of Everett. Sister of James Herron of VA, & John Herron of OH. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home 29 Governors Avenue, MEDFORD, Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 9:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 10 AM. Visiting hours were Friday, July 6, 2007, 4 to 7 PM. Interment was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
