Paul R. MacMillan, 62, of 3 Parent St., died Monday, July 2 at his
home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 41 years, Joanne M. (Gelineau), two sons; Timothy P.
MacMillan and his wife Deborah of Charlton, Kevin E.C. MacMillan and his
wife Kathy of Spencer, two sisters; Patricia L. Anderson and her husband
David J. of Spencer, Judith A. Fortin and her husband Ronald C. of Spencer,
three grandchildren; Adam, Alexander and Austin MacMillan all of Spencer and
nieces and nephews.
Mr. MacMillan was born in Worcester the son of Herbert R. and Aili L.
(Lammi) MacMillan. He was a wireworker for 30 years and worked at Concord
Wire in Worcester for 18 years before retiring in 2002. He was a Spencer
Firefighter for 37 years, and a member of the Spencer United Methodist
Church. He served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed working outdoors and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
A funeral service will be Thursday, July 5 at 10 a.m. in the J. HENRI
MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr. Burial will be in Worcester County
Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 4 from 4-7 p.m.
in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the
