Auburn - Lillian M. (Nishanian) Lavallee, 76, formerly of Homestead Ave. died Friday Dec. 7 in the Lifecare Center of Auburn after an illness.
Her husband Henry Lavallee died in 1996. She leaves one daughter Ann Fish of Phoenix, AZ; one brother Walter Nishanian of Rutland; one sister Rose Borg of Hollywood, FL; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces including Patricia Linehan of Charlton who was her caretaker. She also leaves three foster children Claude Senecal of Illinois, Michelle Simoneau and Loda Klashka both of Oxford. Mrs. Lavallee was born in Worcester daughter of Aaron and Bridget T. (McMahon) Nishanian and graduated from Commerce High School, Worcester and spent most of her life in Auburn.
Mrs. Lavallee was a foster parent for many years and was a member of St. Joseph's Church and it's Women's Society.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday Dec. 14 at 1 PM in St. Joseph's Church 189 Oxford St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lifecare Center of Auburn; Activities Fund 14 Masonic Circle Auburn, MA 01501. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
