Norma C. Gannon, of Medford, died June 29th, at the Winchester Nursing Center, following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Gannon. Born in County Mayo, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (Meehan) O'Hara.
Norma was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a Medford resident for over sixty years and was an active parishioner of St. Joseph Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality and the Mothers Club.
She is survived by her son, Thomas F. Gannon Jr. and his wife Cathy of Arlington, daughters Catherine Faulkner and her husband Clyde of Medford, Eileen Moore and her husband John of Winchester. She is also survived by nine loving grandchildren and sixteen loving great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her sister, Delia Brennan, and brothers, John and Patrick O'Hara.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, July 2nd, at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3 thru 7.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
