Derry, New Hampshire – Dorothy L. (Bergeron) Caron, 68 yrs. died Thursday June 28, 2007 at the Parkland Medical Center.
Born in Lawrence, July 14, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. & Yvonne (Croteau) Bergeron.
Mrs. Caron was a graduate of Saint Ann’s High School class of 1956, and a former communicant of Saint Ann’s Church.
She had worked for many years as a pier Coordinator for Royal Carribean at Port Canaveral.
Dorothy was a communicant of Saint Patrick’s Church of South Lawrence and a member of their church choir.
She was a member of the Fraternity of Red Hats, enjoyed arts, and crafts, as well as ceramics and flower arranging. Dot was the former president of the Women’s VFW Auxiliary in Salem, NH.
She lived in Florida for the past 7 years before returning to NH to live with her daughter and while in Florida was in a play at Coco Playhouse 2 years ago. The play was 7 Brides for 7 Brothers.
A longtime Lawrence resident, survivors include her husband with whom she would have celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary this November 30, 2007 Frank X. Caron, and children, Francine C. & husband John Henze of Derry, Jeffrey P. & wife Jennifer Caron also of Derry, Bruce J, & companion Donna Saber of Lawrence, Glenn A. & wife Janice Caron of Newfield, NH, Scott D. Caron of Lawrence, twin sister Doris Frechette & husband Donald of Danville, NH, and Ceil Baillargeon, of Ohio, a brother Chanel Bergeron of Maine, 13 grandchildren & many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will take place on Monday morning at 11 o’clock in Saint Patricks Church in Lawrence.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street of Methuen.
