Eleanor Winne Ford, formerly of Waterford, died peacefully at Mary Elizabeth Nursing Center in Mystic on Tuesday, June 26, where she lived since 2002. She was born May 24, 1921 in New York City, daughter of Walter G. and Althea (Sharp) Winne.
Loving mother of Eric and Christiaan D'Arcy, who predeceased her, and wife of A. Raymond Taberman who also predeceased her, Eleanor is survived by a daughter, Kathleen D'Arcy Cole of Stonington, a granddaughter, D'Arcy A. Cole of East Haddam, a nephew, Daniel Pease of Waterford, a niece, Suzanne Eleanor Pease of Pawleys, SC and four stepchildren and their families.
Services will be private and burial will be in Hackensack, NJ.
