Funeral services for Mr. Louis M. Bobo, 90, of Sycamore, GA. will be held, Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 4:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mr. Bobo passed away Wednesday at Tift Health Care following an extended illness. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
The son of the late Adolphus Judson and Anna Della Grigsby Bobo he was born in Glover, OK. He was a merchant seaman and a member of the High Hill Baptist Church. He was the widower of Annie Lois Wisner Bobo to whom he married March 27, 1937. He loved raising cattle. His hobby was raising and carng for exotic birds.
Survivors include his children Clifford (Linda) Bobo, Ellicott City, Maryland; Bobby (Betty) Bobo, Hawkinsville, GA.; Jeanette B. (Bobby) Wise, Ashburn, GA.; his grandchildren, Christine (John) Lederer, Clifford Louis Bobo, Kendra Niemiller, Veronica (Johnny) Peterson, Rodney (Tori) Wise, Avery Plowden, Callie (Ben) Ellison, Calvin (Janet) Bobo, Betsy (Doug) Poleschuk; his great-grandchildren Zack & Julia Lederer, Tucker Niemiller, Brandon Wise, Erica Wells, Adam Bobo, Michael Louis Poleschuk.
The family will receive friends six until eight Friday night at Perry Funeral Chapel.
