Salvatore R. “Sal” Menna, 89 of Medford, died Saturday after a brief illness in the Brighten Nursing Center in Medford.
Born in Boston, he lived all his life in Medford and was the son of the late Julia (Fosso) and Andrea A. Menna. Salvatore was a Custodian, employed by Medford High School for 20 years and retired 20 years ago. He served during World War II in the U. S. Army as a Private
Father of Georgia Willis, Barbara, Ralph, Alfred, and Virginia Menna. Brother of Helen Clements of Medford, Andrew A. Menna of Rockport, and the late Joseph Menna, Betty Modugno and Mary Carsto.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9--10:30 AM.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
