Robert E. “Bob” Myles, Jr., 63 of Malden, died Sunday after a brief illness in the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Melrose, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Malden for the past 32 years and formerly of Medford and was the son of the late Robert E. and Marion A. (Harvey) Myles, Sr.
Robert attended St. Joseph School and graduated from Medford High School in 1962. Mr. Myles developed a strong interest in photography and spent many years in photography sales. In 1986 he opened his first one hour photo store, Color Clique in Malden, where he created, designed and patented his Mirror Magic self operated photo studio. He opened a second store called Cambridge St. Photo in Boston and at that time developed an interest in video surveillance, for commercial building and home security. Mr. Myles was a good listener and loving friend to many and will be dearly missed.
Husband of 38 years to Lucille(DiSciscio). Devoted father of Robin A. DeSantis and her husband Paul of Malden. Loving grandfather of Sarah and Robby DeSantis. Brother of Barbara A. LoPilato, Dennis J. Myles and his wife Jeannette all of Medford. Son in law of Sarah (Rizzari) of Medford, and the late Theodore. Brother in law of Anthony S. LoPilato, Nicholas DiSciscio and his late wife Lydia and the late Theodore DiSciscio Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 297 Main St., Malden, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
