HAVERHILL -- Rae S. (Spence) Poublon, 70, a Lawrence native and a resident of Haverhill, died yesterday, June 21, at Hannah Duston LTC in Haverhill.
She was the wife of the late John A. Poublon, to whom she had been married for more than 30 years.
She was born in Lawrence, Aug. 12, 1936, daughter of the late Raymond and Olive (Faucher) Spence. She graduated from St. Mary High School in Lawrence in 1953.
Mrs. Poublon was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, William Poublon, residing in Rhode Island; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Patricia and Wayne Isabelle of Dracut, Donna Poublon of Dracut, Janice and Michael Koshar of Methuen, and Penny Harnisch of Dracut; seven grandchildren, Katie and Rachel Isabelle, Jim and Matthew Motta, Michael Koshar, Christopher Poublon and Stephanie Harnisch.
She is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jeanne and Arthur Poublon of Litchfield, N.H., and Eileen Cassetari of Haverhill; as well as several nephews and nieces.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT on Sun. from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Her funeral will be held on Mon., from the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Magdalen Church in Dracut. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Lighthouse Foundation, Beacon Hospice, 100 Cummings Center, Suite 2226, Beverly, MA 01915.
