Obituary

SALEM - Angelina (Kalapinski) “Nellie” Cecelski, 89, wife of the late Edward A. Cecelski, of Salem, died Thursday morning, June 21, 2007, at her residence following a long illness.

Born and raised in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Anthony E. and Aniela M. (Dylingowska) Kalapinski. She was a graduate of Marblehead High School.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Salem Laundry in Salem for over 20 years.

Mrs Cecelski enjoyed gardening, crafts, sewing, and knitting. With her love for animals, she always had a cat or two in her home.

Nellie is survived by one daughter, Cynthia A. Cecelski of Salem, with whom she resided, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stanley, John and Joseph Kalapinski, Veronica Betley and Victoria Toomey.

Her funeral service will be held Monday, June 25, 2007 at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, Salem. Visiting hours are Sunday, 3 to 6 pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.
