Virginia Rose (White) Mercurio 84, formerly of Whitman died May 7th in California, where she lived with her sister since 1999.
She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Bertha White of Whitman.
At her request there were no services, she was buried in the family lot at the St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
She leaves behind her step-children and step grandchildren as well as her two sisters, Eunice Power of Whitman and Lillian Colarusso of California; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass in her name will be celebrated in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman, MA. ,on Sunday June 24th at 7:30 A.M.
