Marie C. (Malley) Bombard 79 years died Tuesday evening at Our Lady’s Haven in Fairhaven, MA after a brief illness. She was the wife for 57 years of the late George A. Bombard. Mrs. Bombard was born in Boston a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Duffy) Malley and was raised and educated in Roxbury and Dorchester. For the past three years she had resided in North Dartmouth, previously living many years in Brockton. Mrs. Bombard was a homemaker who stayed home to raise her 10 children and many grand children. She enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening.
She is survived by her 10 children George A. Bombard, III of Mansfield; Linda M. King of Taunton; Kenneth P. Bombard of Raynham; Darlene H. Crowley of Florida; Kathleen P. Sutherland of Berkley; John T. Bombard of New Bedford; Steven B. Bombard of New Bedford; Thomas W. Bombard of Plymouth; Robert J. Bombard of Brockton and Tracey M. Keough of No. Dartmouth.
She also leaves 26 grand children and 7 great grandchildren.
She was the sister of Joseph Malley, Jr. of Pennsylvania and Joan Emberger of New Jersey.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews
