MURRELL’S INLET, SC—Kevin J. Fenlon, 66 years old, a former resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 13th at his home.
He was born in Lowell, on June 4, 1941, a son of the late John and Gertrude (Humphreys) Fenlon. He graduated from Pawtucket Elementary School and Lowell High School and fulfilled commitments with the U.S. Air Force and the National Guard.
Mr. Fenlon had been employed for many years by Courier Uniform, and subsequently by the City of Lowell, before moving to South Carolina in 1995. At the time of his death, he was employed by the Wachesaw East Golf Club, in Murrells Inlet.
Surviving him are three sons and a daughter-in-law: Mark K. Fenlon, of Billerica; Matthew K. Fenlon, of Lowell; and Todd A. and Kristie Fenlon, of Lowell; a daughter and son-in-law: Hope and Marton Kozma, of Tifton, GA; five grandchildren: Christian, Connor, Cameron and Sara Grace Kozma, all of Tifton, GA; and Maeve Fenlon, of Lowell; a brother and sister-in-law: Gerald and Joan Fenlon, of Lowell; a niece, a nephew, and several cousins. Additionally, he is survived by his former wife: Donna C. Lane, and close relatives-in-law. Having been an avid golfer, he also leaves many dear friends and golf buddies.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Saturday, June 23rd, at 9 AM at ST. RITA’S CHURCH, Lowell.
