Obituary

E.B. - Patrick W. Sullivan, 73, of East Bridgewater, died Monday, June 18, at Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of Bridget A. (Finn) Sullivan.

Born Feb. 20, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Sullivan) Sullivan.

He was a graduate of Westinghouse High School in Brooklyn, NY.

Mr. Sullivan was in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring in 1971 as Chief. He served during the Korean War and Vietnam War.

After his military retirement, he owned and operated Village Leather out of his home in East Bridgewater, making leather products for the military for 30 years.

A 39 year resident of East Bridgewater, Mr. Sullivan was a member of St. John Church there.

He was a member of the Commercial Club, American Legion Post #91, both in East Bridgewater and enjoyed trips to his Florida home, family, traveling and was an avid movie buff.

He was the husband of Bridget A. (Finn); father of Sean P. Sullivan and his companion Susan Conner of East Bridgewater, Erin Sullivan-Sweeney and her husband Thomas of East Bridgewater, Patrick J. Sullivan of Boca Raton, FL, Bernadette Estabrook and her husband Peter of Bridgewater, Brighid K. Sullivan of East Bridgewater and Deirdre Frank and her husband Russell of NYC; brother of Michael Sullivan and his wife Joanne of NY. Also survived by his grandchildren, Thomas S. Sweeney, Siobhan Estabrook and Fiona Estabrook, and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Friday at 9:15 am. Funeral Mass in St. John Church at 10 am. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm.
