LOWELL – Mary A. (Gazda) Brown, 90, of Dracut passed away June 18, 2007 at Town and Country Nursing Center in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Earl J. Brown to whom she was married for 64 years.
Born on May 9, 1917 in Newmarket, NH, she was the daughter of the late Wojaech and Helence (Blecarcez) Gazda. Mary attended Newmarket schools. She worked as a seamstress in Lowell for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed flea marketing, sewing, and playing cards.
Mary leaves a son Russell J. Brown and his wife Sandra of Punta Gorda, FL; a daughter Dorothy A. Belanger and her husband Victor of Amherst, NH; four grandchildren Scott Belanger of New Boston, NH, Mark Belanger of Hampton, NH, Russell Brown Jr., of Manorville, NY and Sheryl Lynne Walz of Calverton, NY; and nine great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Friday from 9 until 10 AM. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10AM. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell.
