Obituary

AUBURN- Alfred Royal Booth Jr. 75, of 75 Prospect Street, a salesman, and manufacturers representative, died Friday November 27 in St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife, Esther I. Jerzak. His daughter, Pamela Kolton, of Webster, 2 Grandchildren, two sisters Lois Robbie, of Auburn, Cora Welch, of Vero Beach Fla.

A Grandson Sean Kolton predeceased him.

Born in Worcester son of the late Alfred Royal and Martha (Smith) Booth, he was educated in Worcester Schools, later graduating from Worcester Academy.

Mr. Booth was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Booth owned and operated A. R. Booth & Co. he represented many area manufacturers.

He was a member of the Joel H. Prouty Lodge of Masons, he was a past Master. He was a member of the Past Masters Association.

Active in several area charities he was a volunteer for both the American Diabetes Assn. and The American Arthritris Assn.

His funeral service will be held Saturday November 30, 2002 at 10 AM in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, South Street Auburn. Burial plans are private at the convenience of the family.
