WORCESTER-Louise E. (Deshaies) Petkiewicz, 85, 0f 22 Carleton Street, Thursday, November 28th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband Joseph J. Petkiewicz died in 1983. She leaves 2 sons; Philip A. Petkiewicz of Port St. Lucie, FL and Joseph P. Petkiewicz of Cherry Valley, a granddaughter Karyn Riopel of Charlton and many nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Romeo and Clementine (Dumaine) Deshaies. Mrs. Petkiewicz had worked in the shipping department for the R. J. Toomey Company for 12 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish, and enjoyed her volunteer work with the Easter Seals and RSVP.
The funeral will be Monday December 2nd from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, December 1st, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM in the funeral home.
