Geraldine M. Gravelle, 59, of Attleboro died Monday June 18, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Josephine (Duarte) Gravelle, she lived in New Bedford, Westport, and Fall River before moving to Attleboro five years ago.
She was a former communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, where she was a lector and sang in the choir.
Ms. Gravelle had been employed by the Social Security Administration in New Bedford and Boston.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, UMass Dartmouth, and Kinyon-Campbell Business School.
Survivors include two sons, Corey D. Cardoza and Erik T. Cardoza, both of New Bedford; four brothers, Gary Gravelle, Steven Gravelle, and Arthur Gravelle, all of New Bedford, and Dennis Gravelle of New York; five sisters, Annette LaChance of Bridgewater, Vanessa Evans of Attleboro, Michelle Alexander of Providence, Brenda Do Carmo and Sandra Brown, both of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Camille and Edouardo Gravelle.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
