Mrs. Grace M. (Worster) Ficco 90, of Franklin died Saturday June 16, 2007 at the Kindred Rehabilitation Hospital in Natick following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Domenic F. “Dina” Ficco who died in 1996.
Born in Franklin October 11, 1916 a daughter of the late Walter S. and Agnes (O’Connell) Worster, she was a lifelong Franklin resident.
She was educated in Franklin public schools, and was a retired homemaker. She did work earlier in her life first as an attendant at Wrentham State School, and then as a child care worker for many Franklin area familes.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, the American Association of Retired Persons, the Foxboro Women’s Christian Club, and the Legion of Mary at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin, where she was a lifetime communicant.
Her hobbies and interests included her family, cooking and reading.
She is survived by 4 sonsDonald F. Ficco, Edward M. Ficco, Thomas J. Ficco and Daniel A. Ficco all of Franklin, a brother Robert F. Worster of Franklin, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Priscilla Lee, and the sister of the late Walter “Dudda” Worster and Mildred Dauphinee.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday June 20, 2007 at 8:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. (www.franklinfuneral.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 9AM. Interment will follow in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are Tuesday June 19, 2007 from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
