Obituary

Roland B. Maltais, 85, of Manchester, died June 15, in Concord VNA Hospice House, after a long illness.
He was born on January 29, 1922, and was the son of Francois and Loretta(Dallaire) Maltais. He had been a member of the former St. Edmond Parish.
A lifelong resident of the city he attended local schools and served in the 172nd Artillery unit of the United States Army during World War II, from 1941-1945. Roland was employed with Hitchener Manufacturing for many years.
Family members include, 3 daughters, Christina Maltais, Martha Maltais Mary Ellen Maltais, all of Manchester; a son Roger Maltais, of CA; a brother, Maurice Maltais, of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins. His beloved wife Martha predeceased Roland, in 2002.



A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday June 21, 207 in the Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelley St. Manchester.
Burial took place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Donald St. Bedford.
