DANVERS - Barbara E. (Finniss) Munroe, 87, formerly of Beverly & Salem, died peacefully June 13, 2007 at the Cedar Glen Nursing Home, Danvers, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Roy D. and Rose Marie (Sansoucy) Finniss. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and good friend to many, Barbara will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
Barbara is survived by one sister, Velma Oliver of Salem, one brother, Donald Finniss of Cape Canaveral, Florida, five children, Judith Gorman & husband Richard of Danvers, Robert Munroe & wife Suzanne of Beverly, Jean Marciano & husband Paul of Danvers, Scott Munroe & wife Robin of Beverly, Alexandra Fuller & husband George of Tampa, Florida and her good friend and confidante, Hazele Towler of Cedar Glen Nursing Home. She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Barbara was predeceased in death by her late companion, Robert Dodge of Rowley, 5 brothers, Marshall, Robert, Earl, George & Warren Finniss and 4 sisters, Viola Rego, Ruth Averett, Joan Greaves and Frances McCarron.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 11 AM at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Visitation will be Wednesday morning, from 10 am to 11 am, prior to the memorial service. Committal service will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
