METHUEN – Lucille M. Cote age 86 died Friday June 15, 2007 at Salem Haven Nursing Home.
Born and educated in Quebec, Canada, she moved here making her home in Methuen. She was a member of Saint Monica’s Parish in Methuen and former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Third Order of Mary before its closing. For 25 years she was employed as an assembler with Western Electric, now Lucent Technologies in North Andover. She was also self employed and owner with her husband Maurice of Cotes Chicken Farm in Methuen.
The widow of Joseph Maurice Cote, she leaves 1 daughter Doris M. Toohey and her husband William of Raymond, NH.
2 sons Roger J. Cote and his wife Marguerite of Salem, NH and Dennis J. Cote of Methuen.
2 brothers Herve and Paul Cote both of Quebec, Canada.
4 sisters Estelle Cote of Salem, NH, Madeleine Hamel of Montreal, Canada, Sr. Simone Cote and Lise Cote both of Quebec, Canada.
6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to St. Monica’s Church in Methuen. Family and friends may call on Monday from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:00a.m. at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover, MA.
