Ronald Bellerose, age 52, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 12, at Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
He was born in Lowell on Nov. 18, 1954, the son of Gabrielle (Loiselle) Bellerose of Dracut and the late Robert Bellerose. Mr. Bellerose was a longtime Dracut resident and attended Lowell Schools.
He was employed in construction management with A.E.I. of Chelmsford for the past year and was formerly employed with Peter M. Spinelli & Sons of Watertown.
Mr. Bellerose enjoyed volunteer work with special needs children and was involved with the Special Olympics. He was an avid runner and completed several marathons. In addition to health fitness, other interests included family, cooking and outdoor activities.
Besides his mother, Gabrielle (Loiselle) Bellerose of Dracut, he is survived by a daughter, Amie Renee Bellerose of Dracut; his brothers and sisters, Kenneth Bellerose and his wife, Carmen of Pelham, Deborah (Bellerose) Rodriguez and her husband, Pacquito of Lowell, Robert Bellerose and his companion, Kimberly Foley of Waterford, VT, William Bellerose and his fiancee, Kimberly Robinson of Merrimack, NH and Necole Bellerose and her fiancee, Michael Doran of Dracut; he is also survived by his longtime companion, Brenda Horan of Westford; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Janet Bellerose who died in 2003.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Friday, June 15th, from 4 to 8pm. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
