Ellen Howell Guy, 55, of Milledgeville died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Lowell Brock and Rev. James Tyson will officiate with burial to follow in Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Baggett, Jason Harris, Dennis Wiggins, Nicholas Garcia, Fernando Plaza, and Tony Howell. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Delaney and Juleo Howell. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 15, 2007, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Guy was born on September 14, 1951 in Tifton and was the daughter of Authur Howell and Mary Lou Kearce Howell Elinburg, both deceased. She was a homemaker and attended Carpenter Road Church of God. She had lived in Milledgeville for 17 years from Tifton.
Mrs. Guy is survived by her husband, Lloyd O'Neal Guy of Milledgeville; four sons and daughters-in-law, David and Darita Guy of Milledgeville, Alton and Jamie Guy of Tennille, Lamar and Krystle Guy of Milledgeville, and Timmy and Laura Guy of Marietta; two daughters and one son-in-law, Becky Lynn and Paul Talbot of Eatonton, and Jessica Ann Brown of Milledgeville; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Billy Joe and Pam Howell of Omega, and Jack Howell of Tifton; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Helen and Gary Wiggins of Tifton, Sandra Perez of Omega, Rosalie and Soylo Silva of Tifton, and Janet Howell of Omega; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Lorenzie Guy of Norman Park; two sisters-in-law, Betty Baggett of Fitzgerald and Faye Wilson of Fitzgerald; 21 grandchildren; four step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren; and 65 special nieces and nephews.
