INDIAN ORCHARD-Jason K. Gaffney, 35, of Indian Orchard, formerly of Holden and Tewksbury died Wednesday, June 6th in Mercy Hospital, Springfield. He is survived by his former wife, Kristina (Maki) Gaffney; a son, Troy James Gaffney; a daughter, Morgan Kathleen Gaffney all of Tewksbury; his father, Roland Lawson of Desoto, TX; his mother, Evone (Wright) Gaines of Indian Orchard; 2 brothers, Jonathan Gaffney of Palo Alto, CA and Craig Gaffney of Indian Orchard; 4 sisters, Donita Evette Gaffney of Palo Alto, CA, Tina Gaffney of Worcester, Ursula Lawson and Rebecca Polius both of Dallas, TX; and a nephew and 2 nieces. His brother, James Gaffney predeceased him.
He was born in San Antonio, TX and attended Wachusett Regional High School, Doherty Memorial High School and Worcester State College. Mr. Gaffney worked for the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services for many years as a supervisor and for the Eastman Kodak Company as a technical trainer.
Calling hours are Thursday, June 14th from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A service will be held at 8:00 PM following calling hours. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
