Gemma R. Gauvin formerly of Logee St. died Saturday in Overlook Nursing Home in Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Charles L. Gauvin. Mrs. Gauvin was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Theodore and Dora (Therien) Tetreault. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Gauvin was a former member of the St. Agatha’s Ladies Guild.
She is survived by five sons Charles and Andre Gauvin both of Burrillville, Marc Gauvin of Largo, FL, Robert Gauvin of Slatersville,. A daughter Michelle Britt of Burrillville, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Richard Gauvin and sister of the late Aurore Dugas.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, at 9:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. in St. Agatha’s Church, Joffre St., Woonsocket. Burial will be held in Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket. Visiting hours are Wednesday 5-8 pm.
