Mary R. (Rebola) Souza, 84, of Dartmouth died Sunday November 24, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Alfred Souza; they had been married for 55 years.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Jesus) Rebola, she lived in Dartmouth for most of her life.
Mrs. Souza was formerly employed as a stitcher at Mass. Shirt Company. She later worked at Cherry and Webb in the Dartmouth Mall.
She was a member of the Dartmouth Senior Associates.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Janice M. Ribeiro and her husband Barry of Dartmouth; a grandson, Barry Ribeiro, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Dartmouth; a great-granddaughter, Allysa Paige Ribeiro; a niece, Sandra Torman and her husband Ken of Mansfield; and her brother-in-law, George Amaral of Dartmouth.She was the sister of the late Jessie Amaral.
