Patrick Alexander "Alex" Sullivan, 25, of New Bedford died suddenly on Wednesday June 6, 2007 in Richmond, Virginia.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Katherine A. (Cipriano) Sullivan of New Bedford and the late T. Patrick Sullivan, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Alex had been the proprietor of Mighty Moving Company and Big Moves, and was currently working for Walecka Moving Company.
He was a graduate of New Bedford High School and UMass Dartmouth. He was a founding member of the New Bedford High Wrestling Team, and played football for both New Bedford High and UMass Dartmouth.
Survivors include his mother; his stepmother, Maureen Sullivan of New Bedford; his grandparents, John Cipriano of New Bedford and Martha (Smith) Sullivan of Dartmouth; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
He was the grandson of the late Belle (Caldas) Cipriano and Thomas M. Sullivan.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
