MILLBURY

L. James Shea, 73, of Millbury died Sat., June 9 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, from liver cancer.
His wife of 39 years, Charlene E. (Holmes) Shea died in 1994. He leaves two sons, Daniel J. Shea of Millbury and James J. Shea and his wife Denise of E. Brookfield; a daughter, Kathleen M. Pinney and her husband Robert of Hawthorne, CA; two brothers, David V. Shea of Webster and Robert J. Shea of W. Boylston; two sisters, Jacqueline Kinney of Brookfield and Ann Hennigan of Worcester; six grandchildren, Katelin, Erin, Cailin, Kelly, Rian and Krystan; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and his companion of many years, Kathy DeAlmeida.A brother Richard J. Shea and a sister, Elaine Daubney predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, son of Richard and Marion (Helie) Shea and graduated from Boys Trade School.
Jim was a Bus Driver for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Alhambra Council #88, the Local #22 and the Growlers Golf League at Hillcrest Country Club.
The funeral will be held Fri., June 15, from Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Worcester with a Mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting Hours are Thurs. June 14, from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd, Worcester, 01602.
