Audrey M. (Klement) McArdle, 80, of Kill Devil Hills, NC, died, June 7, 2007, at her son and daughter-in -law home in Goffstown after a brief illness.
She was born April 10, 1927 in Queens Village NY, and was the daughter of Frank and Pauline(Sassmann) Klement. She had been a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish, of Kill Devil Hills, NC.
She had been a supervisor of the alterations department for the DePina Department Store in New York City for many years. Audrey was a member of the Red Hat Society, Rosary Alter Society, and a Volunteer for the School for the blind.
She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, and counted cross-stitching for which she won several awards for her artwork. In addition she did crocheting and crossword puzzles, and was an avid bowler.
Family members include her husband of 57 years Francis X. McArdle, of Kill Devil, Hills, NC; 4 sons, Kevin McArdle, of PA, Daniel McArdle, of HI, Richard McArdle, of Goffstown, Jamie McArdle, of MA; 2 grandsons, 5 granddaughters; a brother, Robert Klement, of FL; a sister, Janet Hartard, of FL. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Klement, in 1992.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday June 11, 2007 at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave.
