Nellie Grace Louthan, 82, of Fitzgerald, died Thursday, June 7 at the Fitzgerald Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, June 9, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow in Arbor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Louthan was born February 14, 1925, in Thomasville, Georgia, to the late June Veal and Katie Dunevant Stevens. She lived in the community most of her life before moving to Georgetown in January to live with her son. Mrs. Louthan was a homemaker, former waitress and a former employee of Champion Sportswear. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Barker of Georgetown and Mike Louthan of Wilcox County; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sister, Evelyn Pace of Covington. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse B. Louthan.
