Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Helen (Barnat) Hinckley, 93, of East Main Street, died Thursday, June 7, 2007 in the Addison Gilbert Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles Dana Hinckley who died in April 2000.
Born in Lawrence on June 29, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Kut) Barnat. She was a graduate of the Lawrence Evening High School. She had resided in Gloucester for many years and has enjoyed wintering in Lake Worth, Florida for several years.
Helen worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Gloucester for several years. She also once worked at the former Bolta Rubber Company in Lawrence.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and John Barnat and three sisters, Sophie Barnat, Mary Nelligan and Lottie O’Maley.
Her funeral services will be held on Saturday in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 - 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the VNA Care Network, 5 Federal St., Danvers, MA 01923. Interment will be held in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, E. Gloucester.
