WEBSTER - Patricia K. (Lynch)Benjamin, 71, of 40 Prospect St., died Wednesday, June 6, in Webster Manor. Her husband of 27 years, Robert A. Benjamin, died in 1983.
She leaves 2 sons, Robert A. and his wife Marykay Benjamin of Suffolk,VA and Michael J. Benjamin of Webster; 2 daughters, Janet A. wife of Richard Markiewicz and Norma J. wife of Paul Summa all of Webster; a sister, Helen May of Worcester; her mother-in-law, Florence (Fish)Benjamin Dusty of Webster; 12 grandchildren including a special grandson, Kevin Owens, Jr.of Webster and a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan M. Owens in 2001, by her son, Neil P. Benjamin in 2005 and by her brother, John X. Lynch in 1976.
She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of John and Katherine(Corydon) Lynch. She graduated from St. Peter High School in 1953 and Becker College. She was a resident of Louisiana, North Carolina and Maine before moving to Webster in 1965.
Mrs. Benjamin was a financial service representative for several hospital service agencies in the Worcester area. She was a member of Saint Louis church. She played the violin and enjoyed swimming, beach activities, cooking and her family
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 9, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 15 Lake St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Friday, June 8, in the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
