Richard L. Sullivan, 74, of Dorchester, MA died June 1, 2007 in his residence. He was born in Nashua, NH on May 30, 1933. a son of the late Joseph N. and Genevieve (Courtemanche) Sullivan. Raised in Nashua, he had lived his adult life in Boston, MA. Mr. Sullivan was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been self-employed as a carpenter and maintenance man. He took care of his mother until her death in 2001. Richard is remembered as a devoted son and uncle with a wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by several nieces, Barbara Fereira of Manchester, NH, Cynthia Blanchette of Derry, NH and Linda Sullivan of MA; several nephews, Robert L. Sullivan, Jr., John A. Sullivan and Steve E. Sullivan, all of Derry, David G. Sullivan of Manchester, Arthur Sullivan, Jr., John Sullivan and James Sullivan, all of MA., and great nieces and great nephews.
A calling hour was held on Saturday, June 9th from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A funeral service followed at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry, NH.
