Stepanski of North Easton November 24, 2002 Stanley “Steve” Stepanski 83 years. Husband of Eileen M. (Doherty)(Noonan) Stepanski. Brother of Joseph Stepanski of Weymouth.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 11:30 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday at 4-7 pm.

Obituary

Mr. Stepanski died Sunday morning at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in North Easton, son of the late Anthony and Stephania (Koconiss) Stepanski and remained a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School.

Mr. Stepanski retired from Bird & Sons in Walpole after working many years in the paper division.During WW II he served in the US Army in the 515th parachute infantry regiment in Europe and fought in the Battle of the Bulge .He was a charter member of the WW II Memorial, a member of the Sixth Armored Division Association and retired from Teamsters Local 25

He enjoyed dancing at Roseland Ballroom in Taunton and also hunting and fishing in his younger days.

In addition to his wife and brother he is survived by 8 step children Dorothy Morton of Bridgewater; Lawrence Noonan of Brockton; Edward Noonan of Randolph; Robert Noonan of Scottsdale, Arizona; Kathleen Schultz of LaHabra, California; Roger Noonan of Brockton; Joseph Noonan of Bowie, Maryland and Linda Scully of Taunton. He also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren.He was the stepfather of the late Raymond and Richard “Mushy” Noonan and brother of the late Walter Stepanski
