Lorraine A. Bonney, 73, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, June 4, 2007 in the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. Mrs. Bonney was born in Auburn, ME on June 28, 1933, a daughter of the late William J. and Maria G. (Thibodeau) Asselin. She was a resident of Londonderry since 1971, formerly living in Yarmouth, ME. Mrs. Bonney was a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn, ME in 1951. She had been employed for St. Joseph's Community Services in Manchester, and was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry.
She is survived by her husband, Orvis W. Bonney, Jr. of Londonderry; two sons, Orvis W. Bonney, III of Manchester, and Kevin Bonney of Bedford, NH; three daughters, Debra Turnbull of N. Adams, MA, Lynn Cavedon of N. Smithfield, RI, and Karen Bonney of Hudson, NH; eight grandchildren, Sarah Turnbull, Joshua Turnbull, Emily Cavedon, Peter Cavedon, Sam Bonney-Liles, Max Bonney-Liles, Sawyer Bonney, and Lidia Bonney; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were on Sunday, June 10th from 1 - 4pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, with cremation following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Parish Building Fund, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053.
