Andrew Guinesso, 87 of Auburn, NH died Sunday June 3, 2007 in the VA Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Mr. Guinesso was born in Auburn on February 21, 1920 and was a lifelong resident. He was the son of the late, Andrew and Lillian J. (Pingree) Guinesso. He was educated locally and served with the US Army 82nd Airborne during WWII. He worked for area saw mills for most of his life. In addition to woodworking, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by three sons, Robert Guinesso of Derry, NH, James Guinesso of Auburn, Richard Guinesso of Concord, NH, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his sister, Eva Lunnie of Auburn, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Martha E. (Manahan) Guinesso in 1986 and by his two brothers, Carl and Robert Guinesso.
Calling hours were held Wednesday June 6th from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Graveside services were held on Thursday at 11:00am in the Longmeadow Cemetery, Route 121, Auburn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Longmeadow Church, P.O. Box 356, Auburn, NH 03032.
