Obituary

Paul A. Deschenes, 52, longtime resident of Hudson, NH, formerly of Dracut, died Friday morning, June 1, 2007 at Winchester Hospital after a short illness. He was the beloved husband of Brenda A. (Pitre) Deschenes to whom he was married for 29 years.
He was born in Lowell on April 20, 1955, son of Donald T. and Yvette A. (Desjardins) Deschenes of Dracut. Mr. Deschenes attended the Dracut school system and was a graduate of Dracut High School, class of 1974.
He was employed at Bogochow's Garage and Raytheon, Co. and was also the owner and proprietor of P.D. Landscaping, which he enjoyed for a long time. His energy did not stop there, as he plowed for many years during the winter season.
Mr. Deschene was a parishioner of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish and current parishioner of St. Rita's Parish, both in the Pawtucketville section of Lowell. He was an active volunteer with various community events and charitable organizations in the Lowell area.
He loved his family very much and was dedicated to his wife and daughters numerous activities.
Besides his beloved wife Brenda and his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Kerri Ruth Deschenes, 18, a recent graduate of Lowell Catholic High School, who will be attending Rivier College in the fall, where he had his heart on her attending; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald J. and Pamela Deschenes of Tyngsboro; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan Y. and Donald Ferchak of Dracut; also many aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Tuesday June 5th from 3 to 8pm. Funeral Wednesday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 o'clock at St. Rita Church, Lowell. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Ste. Jeanne d'Arc School Development Fund, 68 Dracut St., Lowell, Ma 01854.
