Mary Ann (Mackey) Wallace age 83 of Windham, NH, died Thursday at her home in Windham, NH.
She was born in Lowell, MA, where she grew up and attended schools. Mrs. Wallace was a resident of Windham, NH for the past 52 years.
Mrs. Wallace was a real estate agent for many years, and owned and operated Wallace Real Estate in Windham, NH. She also owned and operated Butterfield Insurance Agency in Windham, NH. She was a member of St. Matthew Church in Windham, NH. She was also on the Governor’s Council under Governor John Sununu for the Elderly. She was a current member of the Windham Breakfast Club, Past President of the Windham Senior Citizens, and was very active with the Windham, NH Community.
She was predeceased by her husband Patrick Wallace, who died in 1982
She is survived by 2 Sons: Patrick & his wife Rita Wallace of Windham, NH Bill & his wife Cathy Wallace of Windham, NH
2 Brothers: Walter Mackey of Lowell, MA Stanley J. Mackey of Andover, NH
3 Sisters: Helen Smith of Dracut, MA Ann Westphal of Framingham, MA Sophie Wright of Bennington, NH
4 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham, NH.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
