Mrs. Elizabeth M. (Lundy) Cronin, beloved wife of the late Jeremiah “Jerry” B. Cronin, died at Sutton Hill Nursing Center in North Andover on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. She was 87 years old.
She was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine, on June 5, 1919. Mrs. Cronin was a long time active communicant of St. Augustine Parish in Andover and an affiliate of the Order of St. Augustine. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church in Longboat Key, Florida.
She will be sorely missed by her beloved daughter and son-in-law; Beth and her husband Raymond Mahood of Milwaukie, Oregon, two sons and two daughter’s-in-laws; John J. and his wife Nancy Cronin of Andover and Atty. Timothy N. and his wife Judith Cronin of Andover, nine grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, on Thursday, May 31, 2007, at 10:30 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Calling hours were in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Wednesday, May 30, 2007, from 4 to 7 PM. Burial was in St. Augustine Cemetery, Andover.
