Methuen, MA – Emile J. Courcy, 72, died Wednesday May 30, 2007 at his daughters residence in Salem surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lawrence, December 5, 1934 he had been employed for 30 years as a manager with Lincoln Foods before retiring.
Emile was a communicant of Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen.
He had belonged to a bowling league, and his hobbies included gardening, horse shoes, and playing cards with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Pauline A. (Perron) Courcy. Emile is survived by children, Susan & husband Michael Lavee of Manchester, NH, Cindy Belair of Salem, NH, Karen Courcy of Pelham, NH, Steven Courcy of Londonderry, NH, & Peggy & husband Ted Ping of Hudson, NH, 1 brother Robert Courcy of Methuen, 12 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Emile was predeceased by his daughter Linda Carrier.
A funeral mass will take place on Monday morning at 10:30 A.M. in Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
Friends may call on Sunday from 5-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street of Methuen.
