Judith “Judy” E. (Meldrum) Grasso, Of Medford, died Tuesday evening at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 64.
Born and raised in Winthrop, Judy was the daughter of the late John and Barbara Meldrum. A Medford resident for 44 years, Judy was a manager for the Avon Corporation for 22 years.
She was the beloved wife of Charles R. Grasso. She was a devoted mother to Linda Diaz and her husband Joe of Nashua, NH and Michael Grasso and his wife Paula of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Michael and Gina Grasso. She was a dear sister to Ann Haley of Melvin Village, NH, Jack Meldrum, Karen Meldrum, both of Winthrop and the late Joyce Turner.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Friday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions be made in Judy’s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
