Raymond Harrell, 77, of Enigma died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2007, in Tift Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dan Robinson and Rev. J. W. O'Neal will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1, 2007, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Harrell was born on March 11, 1930 in Dodge County and was the son of Jap Henderson Harrell and Mamie Kirkley Harrell, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one brother, J. H. Harrell, Jr.; and three sisters, Wylene Harrell, Mildred Harrell Bess and Alma Harrell Jackson. He was retired from the contruction business and was a member of Brookfield Methodist Church. He was also a United States Army veteran.
Mr. Harrell is survived by his wife, Mary Belle Gibbs Harrell of Enigma; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Selma F. and Shirley Harrell of Lake Okeechobee, Florida, and Edwin H. and June Harrell of Eagle Lake, Florida; two sisters, Vera Harrell Duckworth of Evans and Dorothy Harrell Tice of Geneva, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
