Kathleen S. "Kathy" Correia, 56, of New Bedford died Wednesday May 30, 2007 suddenly at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in Acushnet, the daughter of Joseph H. and Dorothy J. (Tavares) Correia of New Bedford, she lived in New Bedford all her life.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Kathy was formerly employed by the New Bedford Free Public Library for 36 years, most recently at the Howland-Green Branch.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, David W. Correia of New Bedford; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
