Obituary

Cindy Griffin, 18, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, May 27 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, June 2, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Glenn Fussell and Rev. Isaac Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Thursday and Friday evening at the funeral home.

Cindy was born October 9, 1988, in Ben Hill County, to Stephen L. Griffin and Dianne Hagler Jenkins. She lived in the community all of her life. She was a student at the Performance Learning Center in Fitzgerald and attended Midway Church of God.

She is survived by a son, Brandon A. Olivares of Fitzgerald; parents, Stephen & Bonnie Griffin and Dianne & Tony Jenkins of Fitzgerald; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stephen & Somer Griffin, Jr., of Pearson, Joshua Lynn Griffin, Mason Jenkins and Ryan Jenkins of Fitzgerald, Jesse & Rose Fletcher of Decatur, AL, Eric & Kristi Dugger, Brett Dugger and Joel & Johnnie Dugger, of Fitzgerald, sister, Nicole Dugger of Fitzgerald; grandparents, Bill & Carrie Griffin, J.W. Williamson, Johnny & Faustine Watts, and Joseph Gladeston Hall, all of Fitzgerald and Waymon and Imo Jenkins of Fayette, AL; great grandmother, Janie Griffin of Wilcox County; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two grandmothers: Evelyn Williamson and Emma Joyce Hall.
