Obituary

Worcester-Leo F. Sheehan, 75, of Blue Bell Road, died Sunday, Nov. 17, in UMass Memorial Medical Center-Memorial Campus.

His wife of 43 years, Ann (Grudzinkas) Sheehan, died in 1998. He leaves his companion, Claire Sullivan, with whom he lived; a daughter, Lynda Malone of Norristown, Pa.; nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. A son, Paul Camolli, died in 1998. A brother, Ralph Sheehan, and a sister, Marion Melnikoff, also predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Thomas J. and Rose (Veroneau) Sheehan. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Sheehan worked at Omeda, a division of BOC-Anesthesia Equipment Specialists, serving New England for more than 40 years. He was a member of the company’s Presidents Club and was elected to its Hall of Fame. After retiring, he worked part-time at Harr Motors. He enjoyed bicycling. The funeral Mass was held at 10 A.M., Thursday, Nov. 21, in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, Massachusetts-Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, CT 06150-1160.
